I was also laughing so hard reading Larissa's review of The Gorge. I watched the movie and I honestly don't remember what I thought of it. I think I had fun but something with the ending (I can't remember the ending at all).
It was really bad. Like 90 Day Fiancé bad. They end up blowing up the Gorge and Sigourney Weaver, who plays the antagonist, along with it. The next scene, the movie is over with the leads together laughing and kissing against a wide sweeping shot of a scenic vista.
They must chat to themselves sometimes:
“Hey remember that time we were secret paramilitary operatives fighting like actual demons?”
“Yeah what were those things? We literally never asked any questions before we blew them up.”
“You’d think a multi billion dollar operation and genetically mutated hellspawn would put up more of a fight!”
“Good thing we live absolutely consequence free from any of that.”
Hahahahaha I knew it was bad but I think your rendering of it is honestly better than the actual ending 😂. Also 90 day fiancé knows how to bring the drama at least.
