Great read as always but I wanted to comment and ask if I am the only one that is bored to death by genealogical testing? Maybe it is because I watch a lot of true crime but whenever the show focuses on genealogical testing or DNA my eyes roll having to hear about how "amazing" the science is ten times over.
As for the reality show poll I went with Storage Wars, sifting through antiques sounds a lot less overwhelming than being forced into a dating situation with cameras rolling all around.
Not to influence anyone else’s vote, but Storage Wars is definitely the way to go. Sorting through random piles of trash/treasure seems amazing compared to dating shows. Definitely don’t have the constitution for that.
Re: DNA testing - it’s not even that reliable. My theory is there is a propaganda plot for these crime shows to weigh heavily on making “science” irrefutable so as to not have the TV watching masses question the rulings of the justice system (let alone the corporations doing the DNA/genealogy testing).
